About the Event
A hands on experience in clay. In this beginner course, you will learn all the basic clay building techniques to form pottery without the need of a wheel. Handbuilding allows a ceramic artist to hand-form whatever they desire including bowls, windchimes, ornaments platters and so much more. Learn pinch pots, coil pots, slab building, "poof" pots and more! After creating your masterpiece pick out your colors and let us finish the magic. All classwork will be fired and glazed by us and available for your pick up at Boom Town Makers Market when it is done.
This is a beginner-level class - No prior clay or art experience required! We welcome all beginners, intermediate or advanced artists looking for their own experince in clay. We always encourage your own creativity in each class.
